Great views of Oslo from high up the mountain.
Very good range of food, cooked Cold meatsand cereal. Good size room , handy for Metro train into the city centre.
Parking isn't free and the machine wasn't working, so difficult to pay.

Well designed hotel which is super cozy in winter
We came in winter so the hotel was quite empty. The staff was awesome. All were very friendly and attentive. Check-in was a breeze. The hotel is well designed. Best of it was the breakfast and their little gift shop with high quality gifts.
Just two minor things. In winter it would‘ve been good to have some lights and maybe some signs on the way up to the hotel. We came in a snowy, foggy night where we had to trust google maps 100% that we take the right turn. It is not possible to take a shower and not to flood the bathroom.

A bit disappointing
The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. The staff was also very nice.
The pictures looked far better than the room did in real life. The shower was extremely small and the bathroom all in all was just very small. No place to hang the towels or put any bathroom products so I wouldn't stay there more that just one night. The room itself was fine but you could see that it was old and needed repairs. The roof was cracked and the paint had come off. We couldn't see an elevator to get down to our room, maybe there is one but we were very glad that we only had a backpack and not a big suitcase. So all in all fine for a short stay without any luggage.
